Small leaf, Big world.
Can’t believe I didn’t post this one sooner! My mom and I went on a Christmas walk last year when I saw this sad, tiny leaf on the street. I bent down, took a picture, and voila: this!! Okay, maybe I spent a little time down there adjusting the focus, aperture, and shutter speed… But still. The depth of field turned out more perfectly than I could have imagined, and the stark contrast between the leaf and street… Yummy!

I took this yesterday afternoon. I was so fascinated by the intensity of the clouds, but I can’t stand taking pictures of JUST clouds and nothing else. I tried to incorporate my surroundings into the picture, but I was standing in the middle of a Panera/Dick’s Sporting Goods parking lot (not much to look at). Much to my surprise (and pleasure), this adorable plane popped out of nowhere and gave me this beautiful shot! Many thanks to the pilot!
Fate brought me to this place!
The water meters outside of my apartment! It’s cold and rainy, so I decided to keep the photography close to home…. :) No hypothermia for this girl!
